Plot Sumary :
Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant has in the middle the story of teenager Darren Shan (Chris Massoglia) who’s spirit of adventure takes him through the journey of his life… The 16-year-old boy and his friend Steve(Josh Hutcherson), bored with their simple life, decide to go see a weird circus show arrived in their town.

After they struggle a little to get tickets for the show, the two boys will enter a world filled with strange and spooky creatures and the boys’ attention is drawn by a man named Larten Crepsley(John C. Reilly) who’s act consists from making a poisonous spider do tricks. Steve knows something is wrong about this man and realizes that he’s a vampire. After that, a series of events will take place that’ll test the boys’ friendship and for Darren will be the way to fulfill his destiny.
